School events are activities that you participate in school. People have their opinions about school activities. Some people may like them, and some people may not. Even though some people may say that they are boring, for some people, it is actually better than classwork. If people who don’t like school events tell you this, you don’t have to believe them, but you may give them some suggestions to make them better. Such as, letting other people choose or make up an activity they want to participate in. The more people will like them, then the more people will participate in them. School events are not only made up of activities, though. They are also events like assemblies, or incentives. These events are not for learning, but to reward those who are doing a great job during the school year. The difference between activities and assemblies or incentives, is that you do not choose to participate. Of course, in activities, you may not like the activity and tell your teacher that you don’t want to participate, or you simply won’t participate in it. When there is an incentive or assembly, you can’t choose if you want to go or not. You are able to go, if you have met the requirements to go to the incentive or assembly. There are different requirements for each assembly or incentive.School events may also include parties, as a reward for good behavior, or doing well as a class. Sometimes the whole grade may be rewarded. These types of events are not the most common. Some teachers may not provide them. These events are similar to assemblies and incentives, because you have to meet the certain requirements to attend them. There is a difference between assemblies/incentives and parties, though. The parties reward one class, or a whole grade, and assemblies/incentives reward the whole school. School events even include field-trips. Field-trips are the most common among all of the school events. Field-trips can be a reward, but most of them are for you to learn something. A few of them are based off of the assignment, or something you have already learned. The field-trips that are a reward may have been something you have learned, or it could be based off of an assignment.
